Kawkawa Campsite

Our clients purchased a home on Kawakawa Lake as a gathering place for their extended family, who are spread across the country and in Washington state — a setting where lasting memories could be made. They asked us to revitalize its dated appearance and enhance overall functionality.

The surrounding mountains in the District of Hope can feel imposing, shading the area. To counter this, we selected light colours and relaxed cottage‑style cladding to create a bright, inviting lakeside retreat. The back of the home was reconfigured to strengthen its connection to the lake, and a pavilion with operable glass walls was added to allow year‑round enjoyment of the setting.
